Cranio-sacral therapy is a gentle, non-invasive therapy form which takes into account the whole person – on physical, mental and emotional levels.
The main cornern of cranio-sacral therapy is to create a balanced state that can help us to identify and to engage with the root causes of our symptoms. The process promotes our underlying health and supports our ability to self-repair from different conditions and illnesses.
Due to its gentle nature, cranio-sacral therapy can also useful for babies and young children helping them with common childhood illnesses, such as colic and ear infections,
as well as dealing with the effects of birth trauma.
treatments
During the cranio-sacral treatment, the client usually lies on their back (or sits) fully-clothed on a treatment couch whilst the therapist makes contact by placing their hands gently on the client’s body.
The number of treatments recommended varies from person to person, depending on their individual requirements and the nature of their condition. More chronic health issues tend to take longer. The length between the treatments also varies according to individual needs, but it is common to have a follow-on treatment, a week or two weeks later. However, with a more long-term treatment programme, once a month can also be appropriate.

Tanja graduated with a diploma in cranio-sacral therapy from the College of Cranio-Sacral Therapy (CCST), London in 2011. CCST is the most established cranio-sacral college in Europe.
Tanja has MSc in Dance Science and over 10 years of experience in dance and movement practice. She treats professional dancers on a regular basis. The most common dance injuries are ankle sprains, knee and hip injuries, back and neck pain, as well as the psychological and emotional issues relating to dance injuries.

cost + booking
Each appointment lasts for 60min. A treatment costs £40 per session. You can also purchase a package of 3 treatments with a price of £40 each and gain the 4th treatment free. This offer is available until the end of 2012.
Cancellation policy
The full fee of £40 is payable if the appointment is missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours from the appointment. In the event that I will need to cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours notice, I will reward you with a free treatment session.
